After I was featured in an article about First Birthday Cakesmash Photography in the Hamilton Spectator and then the Toronto Star, City TV News contacted me to come by and film one. It finally aired tonight and I must say I prefer being behind the camera than in front of one. (LOL! I`m about 5 months pregnant and apparently carrying all the weight in my face..ugh! ) For the shoot I had my lovely niece Elliana on hand with her friend Ashton. Here are some of the resulting shots form the smash! Here is the LINK to the story. In the caption it says I “pioneered the trend” which is absolutely not true! LOL! I have just noticed more people requesting them lately.
Love these ones of Ashton letting us know exactly how he felt about the cake!
And the always gorgeous Elliana!

I photographed this little beauty’s big sister back when she was a newborn. Now she’s almost 2 and turning out to be a great big sis! It’s so amazing to be able to watch families grow! Thanks so much Erika for coming by again and letting me spend some time with your beautiful girls!! Here is a sneak peek from today!

This little cutie made us work! But with a face as sweet as his, it was all worth it! Newborn sessions as late as 3 weeks can be pretty difficult, but I am in love with so many images in his gallery! Here is a little preview!

This little cutie pie was such a natural in front of the camera! At 3 months old, you never really know what you`re gonna get. Sometimes babies this age can be pretty unhappy during a photoshoot..it`s definitely an iffy age. But this handsome guy just loved his camera time! I see Baby Gap modeling in his future! Here is a little sneak peek from today!

I’m so excited to see the cover shot I did for Hamilton Magazine! The issue will be out on newsstands in a few days, but you can see it on their online site at http://www.hamiltonmagazine.com. As much as I adore shooting little kiddies, I can’t tell you how fabulous it is when I get to photograph adults that are able to take direction. (lol) I was fortunate enough to shoot the lovely Natalie Ravoi of the Cupcake Diner, Hamilton’s first mobile cupcake stand. Check out her website, and if you find she’s in your area, you simply must stop by and get one of her delicious cupcakes!

Newborn sessions have always been my favourite. But now that I’m pregnant they have gotten even more special somehow! I don’t know yet if I’m having a boy or girl…but if I have a little boy half as sweet as this little cutie, I would be super grateful! I instantly fell in love with him! Thanks Mom and Grandma for the lovely afternoon..here is your sneak peek!
