Things are finally starting to get back to normal at our house. We all came down with the flu over the Holidays and our usual busy and bustling days slowed to a screeching halt. The most affected was my little guy when, after 3 ER trips, it was finally discovered that he was very sick and needed oxygen to help get air into his congested lungs. He was just lifeless for three days…just laying on me the whole time with the saddest face. Ugh, it broke my heart. It’s amazing how kids bounce back though…I`m so grateful to see him dancing around the house now, being his usual cheerful self. I had to snap some photos of him and that big grin i missed so much during those sad few days. And of course I couldn’t exclude my beautiful Isabella.

This little cutie’s Grandmother came by for some portraits with her first grandchild. I can tell he’s going to be one spoiled little guy! His family is so full of love, and just smitten with him. He has the most cutest pinch-able cheeks I’ve ever seen!

A year ago today we welcomed our sweet boy Luca in to our family. And this past year has been full of so much joy, laughter, wonder and fun. I still can’t believe how quickly this year has passed and how much my little guy has grown, changed, and developed his own little personality. Luca, you fill Mommy’s heart with so much love, pride and joy. You are the sweetest little brother and son anyone could ever ask for! I love you more than you could ever possibly know!
If you’ve ever met little Luca, you know he’s the smiliest, happiest and flirtiest little guy around. You can’t help but smile when you’re with him, (unless it’s 3am and he’s screaming his butt off, which is something else he likes to do frequently..LOL) His favourite things are watching Thomas the Train, splashing at bathtime, playing with his big sister Isabella, and stealing snuggles from Mommy and Daddy.
